Description:
Certain restaurants offer a haven from the world you've just left, and Café Blue is one. Outside lies the sterile atmosphere of Gunbarrel Plaza. Inside, the maroon-painted walls and dim, attractive lighting make you feel a bit as if you've entered a noir film.
As for the food, it can be either average or delicious. When it comes to appetizers, avoid the gorgonzola dip ($7.95) in favor of the firecracker shrimp ($8.95). The former features a dip that's on the thin side, which makes it hard to mask the rather stark tastes of the raw broccoli and zucchini.
