Champ Bailey is missing his 10th game of the season, sitting out against Tennessee a week after returning against Kansas City.

Bailey has been bothered by a nagging left foot injury since August. He played the first half last week against the Chiefs and practiced all week, but was downgraded Friday from probable to questionable.

Also out for the Broncos are Trindon Holliday, Ronnie Hillman, J.D. Walton, Chris Kuper, Derek Wolfe and Zac Dysert. Wolfe is missing his second game since suffering a seizure-like episode on Nov. 30.

Slumping receiver Kenny Britt is a healthy inactive for the Titans.

Other inactives for Tennessee are John Skelton, Damian Williams, Micah Pellerin, Byron Stingily, Delanie Walker and Lavar Edwards.

Two hours before game time, the playing field at Sports Authority Field at Mile High was clear of snow and picture perfect with sunshine. But it was cold with temperatures barely in the teens and a light breeze.

Maintenance workers were in the final stages of clearing snow left over from a light snowfall during the night from the spectator areas.

The stairways leading from the upper parking lots to the lower level area had been treated, but there still were some patches of icy looking material on the steps. A few hearty fans were setting up tailgating tables, but not as many as in earlier games when the sun was brighter and temperatures much higher.

The pre-game talk was highlighted by questions about Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's performance in cold-weather games. Many Manning supporters were saying the questions were nonsense. There almost were as many questions about how the Tennessee Titans would react to the severe cold because of coming from a milder climate in Tennessee.

The inactive list by the Denver Broncos listed cornerback Champ Bailey, who has been fighting a foot injury all season. Also on the list were defensive end Derek Wolfe, return specialist Trindon Holliday, running back RonnieHillman, quarterback Zac Dysert and offensive linemen J. D. Walton and Chris Kuper.

The Titans listed quarterback John Skelton, receivers Damian Williams and Kenny Britt, defensive back Micah Pellerin, tackle Byron Stingily, tight end Delanie Walker and defensive end Lavar Edwards.
