University of Colorado junior Lexy Kresl was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team for women's basketball on Wednesday.

Kresl is an integrative physiology major with a 3.63 cumulative grade point average. She is studying to be a physician's assistant and hopes to attend Colorado's nationally recognized PA school after completing her undergraduate degree.

As a sophomore, Kresl was a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic pick and the only underclassman among the 10 student-athletes that made up the first and second teams.

Joining Kresl on the All-Academic team this year were Buffs teammates Rachel Hargis and Lauren Huggins. Both received honorable mention status.
