There was no change in the lacrosse rankings for the Buffs this week as Colorado held strong at fifth in the Cascade/Inside Lacrosse and the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine polls while remaining sixth in the IWLCA Coaches' poll.

Coming off its first loss of the season at nationally-ranked Stony Brook, CU got back in the win column Friday with the program's first victory against Stanford. Colorado improved to 12-1 overall and maintained a perfect mark (4-0) in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

The Buffs will face their sixth ranked opponent of the season this Friday when they visit USC to take on the ninth-ranked Trojans at 6 p.m. MDT. As the only unbeaten teams in the league, the matchup will prove critical in the race for the MPSF crown. CU completes the road trip at San Diego State on Sunday afternoon.
