Fans can soon get a sneak peak at the nationally-ranked Colorado volleyball team.

On Saturday, coach Jesse Mahoney and his Buffaloes will host their annual Black & Gold scrimmage at the CU Events Center. The doors open at 2:30 p.m. with the scrimmage set to begin at 3 p.m.

Parking will be free at the Events Center parking garage.

The Buffs will be fresh off an ongoing trip to the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for a series of preseason workouts.

CU is ranked 15th in the preseason poll conducted by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Coming off the program's first appearance in the Sweet 16 in 20 years, it is the Buffs' first preseason ranking since 2015. Seven Pac-12 teams reached the preseason poll, including No. 1 Stanford, No. 10 USC, No. 11 UCLA, No. 17 Washington, No. 18 Oregon and No. 19 Utah.

CU opens the season with matches against Oral Roberts and North Florida on Aug. 24 at the Rumble in the Rockies hosted by Wyoming.
