Boulder police arrested a man who reportedly threatened someone with an axe Thursday night, according to a release.

The incident was reported at 8:50 p.m. to the King Soopers at 1650 30th St. Officers arrived and found the alleged victim, who was not injured.

About 15 minutes later, police found a man near an abandoned building east of King Soopers matching the description of the suspect, identified in jail records as Paul Almo Henley, 47.

An axe was found nearby, and Henley was positively identified by the victim.

Henley was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing and booked at the Boulder County Jail.
