The man accused of fatally shooting three people in Coal Creek Canyon in April is set for a two-week murder trial in late 2018.

Garrett Coughlin, 24, pleaded not guilty in Boulder District Court on Wednesday morning to three counts of first-degree murder after deliberation, three counts of felony murder and one count of aggravated robbery.

At the request of attorneys, District Judge Judith LaBuda set Couglin for a 10-day trial beginning Dec. 3, 2018. Coughlin is also set for a status conference on Feb. 8 and two motions hearings on April 5 and Sept. 6.
