The thousands of marijuana enthusiasts expected to descend on the University of Colorado's Boulder campus this afternoon could find the 4/20 pot smoke-out a bit dampened: According to the National Weather Service, there's a 30 percent chance of rain this afternoon.

Following patchy fog this morning, forecasters call for partly sunny day with a high near 56. Tonight, showers are likely before midnight -- the chance of precipitation increases to 60 percent -- as temperatures drop to a low of around 40.

That chance or rain and even thunderstorms remains Thursday -- 20 percent odds before noon -- as temperatures should climb to a high of 67 under partly sunny skies.

Friday, temperatures should hit 59 with breezy conditions, but no possible precipitation until the evening, when there's a 10 percent chance of rain or snow showers.

As for the weekend, Saturday sees a chance of morning rain or snow before temperatures climb to about 54, and Sunday, too, sees a slight chance of rain with a high near 59.
