Boulder County's in for a sunny day with highs in the low 50s today and an even warmer Friday before a weekend cool-down arrives, bringing with it the potential of snow on both Saturday and Sunday.

Today's high should hit 51, according to the National Weather Service, before dipping down to 25 tonight.

Friday's forecast call for mostly sunny skies with highs reaching near 57 and a low that night of 27.

Saturday, though, sees a 40 percent chance of snow after 11 a.m. with temperatures reaching 38 for the day. Saturday night, that chance of snow increases to 50 percent as temperatures drop to a low of 19.

The chance of show remains at 30 percent on Sunday under mostly cloudy skies and a high of 35.

Temperatures on Monday and Tuesday are expected to remain in the 30s, but snow is not forecast those days.
