Neptune Mountaineering is offering a $300 gift certificate as a reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man accused of stealing a pair of expensive boots designed for high-altitude peaks.

The theft occurred midday Thursday, according to Neptune, which posted a security video on its Facebook page.

The suspected thief, a white man in his 50s who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds, is seen walking out of the shop with the boots on his feet.

The suspect is missing his pinky and ring finger on his left hand.
