Brothers Dave Grusin and Don Grusin played a piano duet at Macky Auditorium on Wednesday as part of the Conference on World Affairs.

Dave Grusin has composed scores for films and television and has won numerous awards for his work, including an Academy Award and 12 Grammys. Born in Littleton, he studied music at the University of Colorado.

Don Grusin is also a composer and pianist who holds a master's degree in economics from CU. He has taught as a Fulbright professor in Mexico and in the United States, and he was the recipient of the CU Alumni Association's 2006 George Norlin Award for distinguished lifetime achievement.
