Boulder police are investigating a report that a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at her home on University Hill over the weekend.

According to a news release, the woman told police the assault happened on Saturday just after 5 a.m. at her house in the 900 block of University Ave. 

The woman said she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man before he fled the house in an unknown direction.

There were no signs of forced entry, and roommates said the house may have been unlocked.

Police said the victim wasn't able to provide a detailed description of the suspect. The suspect was described as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a smaller build and a narrow face. He was wearing dark clothing that included some type of workout jacket, sweatshirt or rain jacket.
