A second Lafayette teen pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated robbery for his role in a home invasion in March 2012.

Alyx Richard Leach, 18, is the second in the case to take a plea deal after Alexander Gregory Fein, 18, pleaded to the same charge Wednesday.

As a condition of the plea, charges of second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, menacing and theft charges were dropped. The aggravated robbery charge is a Class 3 felony, and Leach is due for sentencing March 15.

According to prosecutors, Leach and two other men -- Dimitri Scott Connell, 23, and Fein -- entered a home in the 2100 block of Meadow Sweet Lane on the afternoon of March 20 to steal drugs from a high school acquaintance. According to court documents, the victim told police the three men walked into the home through an unlocked door, displayed handguns and demanded prescription medication.

The victim told police Fein "tazed" him, causing him to fall down and "see stars," and he turned over his prescription drugs, the affidavit said.

All three were initially charged with aggravated robbery, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, menacing and theft. Connell pleaded not guilty and is set for trial in February.

Fein and Leach also were arrested in Erie on suspicion of attempted murder last year. According to investigators, three teens said Leach and Fein chased them in their car and fired several shots at them after they didn't go through with a marijuana deal March 22.

Leach pleaded guilty to a single count of attempted second-degree murder. He is scheduled for sentencing March 4 in that case. Fein is scheduled to stand trial in Weld County on March 25 on three counts of first-degree attempted murder.
