The Baker St. Pub & Grill restaurant in Boulder has ceased operations.
The English-themed restaurant at 1729 28th St. shuttered during the weekend.
Officials for HUSA Management Inc., the Houston-based hospitality group that operates the Baker St. concept, were not immediately available for comment.
When reached at the Boulder restaurant on Monday, HUSA's regional director of operations declined to be interviewed and said the company would release a statement in the coming days.
HUSA's Sherlock's Pub Co. operates more than 20 English-themed restaurants — under the banners of Baker St. Pub & Grill, Sherlock's Baker St. Pub & Grill, Sherlock's Baker St. Pub and Watson's House of Ales — in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.
Signage posted on the Boulder restaurant's doors directed customers to Baker St. locations in the Denver area.
Baker St. opened in February 2009 at the nearly 5,200-square-foot building off 28th Street and Canyon Boulevard that formerly was occupied by Chili's Grill & Bar. Chili's closed its doors in 2008 after more than 20 years in operation.
