DENVER (AP) â A 47-year-old man is dead after falling about 60 feet while trying to take a picture along Lookout Mountain Road west of Denver.

The Jefferson County sheriff’s office says the man was with others at about 4 p.m. Monday when he stepped over the guard rail to snap the photo and fell. He died at the scene.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says it’s not clear whether Monday’s high winds were a factor of if the man just lost his footing. She says there were no indications of foul play.

The man’s name was not released, but Kelley said he had lived in the Denver area for several years.

I would strongly suggest that anyone who has had a friend or family member involved in a tragedy not look here for condolences and/or sympathy.

Flaven’s comment was hilarious! And this place, and it’s news items, are more and more like the Onion every day.
