The Denver Nuggets will get plenty of frequent flier miles early this season.

Nine of the Nuggets’ first 13 games are away from the Pepsi Center according to the schedule released Tuesday. That includes a season-long six-game road trip in early November.

The 2008-09 Western Conference runners-up open the 2009-10 campaign on Oct. 28 at home against the Utah Jazz before traveling to face Portland the following night.

The Nuggets will be featured on national television 29 times, including an ESPN Christmas Day game at Portland. More than 70 games will also be aired on Altitude or Altitude2.

The four Western Conference teams the Nuggets will play just three times in 2009-10 are Dallas, Houston, Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Season tickets and 10-game plans can be purchased at nuggetsseats.com. The single-game on-sale date and preseason schedule will be announced at a later date.
