I was distraught and upset to read the article that reported on the Coolio concert at The Goose this past Saturday (“Coolio bombs in Boulder,” Aug. 30).
The entire article had an incredibly negative tone and portrayed the event as a total bust. Coolio was nothing like the writer describes, and it seems to me that the writer did their research for the article from stereotypical assumptions rather then even attending the concert.
I went to the show and had an amazing time!
Coolio put on a high-energy show, and got the crowd excited with classic beats that everyone loved. The Goose was packed with people, and Coolio was putting smiles on everyone’s faces.
