Channel One News, a national television news network aimed at teens, will be on the University of Colorado campus today, asking a select number of students their views on four hot topics: race, religion, money and war.
The network is an affiliate of CBS News and is filming an update to a 90-minute-long documentary that aired on CBS in 1969. That documentary asked CU students — along with parents and older folks from around the country — their views on the same topics.
Channel One will produce a 10-minute segment from the footage shot at CU today and Thursday. The segment likely will air in mid-November, said producer Carolyn Libby.
