Maybe you know him from his FX comedy series “Louie.”

Or maybe you remember his Emmy-winning writing for the “Chris Rock Show.”

Or perhaps you’re just super cool and you’ve been following Louis C.K.’s stand-up for years.

Whatever the case, the dude is screaming funny. He’s raunchy, he’s politically incorrect and he laughs at himself.

His clever, but casual stream-of-consciousness spews out as if he’s just a buddy up on stage.

Comedian Louis C.K. performs Sunday night at the Paramount Theatre in Denver.

His success with acting, writing and stand-up in film and television — and now his new series, “Louie,” which FX just renewed for a second season — has catapulted him to the forefront.

The man is at the top of his game. Go laugh your ass off before he goes all Hollywood on us.

Info: Paramount Theatre, 1621 Glenarm Place, Denver; 7:30 p.m. Sunday; 720-528-6800; $32.50-$35.

It’ll be anarchy

You’re way too young to know who Bad Religion is, right?

No? Well look at you. You sly little minx.

Solid work. The band is only one of the most celebrated punk groups of all time.

And lead singer Greg Graffin has been hard at work celebrating Bad Religion’s 30-year anniversary, teaching at UCLA and writing a book.

Graffin will sign his new book (co-written with Steve Olson), “Anarchy Evolution: Faith, Science, and Bad Religion in a World Without God,” at 6 tonight at the Tattered Cover LoDo. Hurry, seats and tickets are limited.

Bonus! Bad Religion will perform at the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday night in support of its new album The Dissent of Man with The Bouncing Souls opening the show.

Info: Book signing at the Tattered Cover LoDo, 1638 16th St., Denver: 6 tonight; 303-436-1070; free; Bad Religion with The Bouncing Souls at the Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 Clarkson St., Denver: 8 p.m. Friday; 303-837-1482; $22.

Orange and blue

Those damn Kansas City Chiefs.

The Broncos have owned them at home until the Chiefs snapped a Denver eight-game winning streak in January.

The team is back in town Sunday for a 2:05 p.m. game in Denver.

So, the University of Colorado has turned you against football? Snap out of it, jerks. It’s only halfway through the season.

Even if you don’t like the Broncos or the NFL — or you are on the Tim Tebow loathe bandwagon (oh, everybody calm down) — you do like drink specials, right?

Bring the Sunday Funday to Denver and go tailgate with some crazy fans or head to sports bars downtown in search of $1 drafts.

But get home early! You have class the next day.

Info: Sunday at 2:05 p.m. Invesco Field at Mile High, 1701 Bryant St., Denver. 720-258-3000. $55 and up.
