T here’s lots of reality TV news!

“Project Runway” debuted with two Colorado contenders, the Kardashians are hitting “Dancing with the Stars” — and lots of quirky new shows just got signed.

‘Project Runway’

Can lightning strike twice in one place — and why is Heidi Klum walking around half-naked in “Project Runway” promos?

These are questions Colorado “Project Runway” fans want to know.

Last Thursday, “Project Runway” returned to Lifetime and the first episode featured five designers getting the boot!

The remaining pack features two Colorado designers with very unique tastes. Denver’s Mondo Guerro came in second place last season, so “Project Runway” definitely scoured the state this time around.

Denver’s Fallene Wells goes for edgy, modern designs, while Grand Junction’s Julie Tierney is strictly about outerwear. Maybe that’s why she almost got dumped during the first competition.

That’s not all.

Viewers can vote for fan favorite on Twitter and there will be a special outdoor runway show challenge this season.

Last Thursday’s show introduced the designers, but the “wow” factor was missing.

Kardashians take over

“Dancing with the Stars” is changing its tune for next season’s challenge.

The show’s grabbed any celebrity with a pulse to compete, but “Dancing with the Stars” said it was looking for “high-profile” celebs for the fall.

The bar didn’t get raised that high.

The first celebrity the show reportedly signed is Rob Kardashian — as in little bro of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. Great, the show has its first dufus of the season.

Someone please explain to the “Dancing with the Stars” execs what “high profile” means.

The shows get weirder

Reality producers never run out of ideas, so here’s some of the quirkier ones coming to TV:

Reality producer Ryan Seascrest decided to spotlight the affluent Persian-American community in LA, so he developed the new reality show “Shahs of Sunset.”

The History Channel’s also getting into the reality trend.

If you’re into “Dungeons and Dragons,” you’re going to love this epic. The channel developed a reality competition that features jousters in full suits of armor!

The new show’s called “Full Metal Jousting.” Yeah, it sounds totally stupid — until you find out the winner gets $100,000.

It’s not looking so dumb now.

TV hosts Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos know a few things about soap operas.

The couple met on the set of “All My Children” and they know all the dirty little secrets that go on behind the scenes.

That’s why the couple scored a new reality show that covers the secret lives of soap stars.

The show debuts Sept. 25 on NBC.
