The Buffs won! The Buffs won! A fine senior send-off for Tyler Hansen &co., and so the Buffs avoided being the first Colorado team since 1920 to go winless at home. Ready for some highlights? Not talking video highlights here — I’m talking about one of the funnier tweets to come about due to the game, via a conversation that started on the #Boulder hashtag, apparently among Arizona fans:

Sorry about the game. Hope you found your pants.

Speaking of Twitter, here’s a story about Boulder County’s “crisis tweeters”: “While the Fourmile Fire was consuming homes, evacuees and onlookers turned to the Boulder Office of Emergency Management’s website for updates, and to sites such as Twitter and Facebook to trade information.”

(By the way, did you know there were a few small fires and 84 mph winds over the weekend while you were hungover? And if you missed that, you might have also missed the one about the half-naked, possibly shrooming climber in distress who was rescued from the first Flatiron: “Also, deputies say they think a civilian may have been bitten by one of the climbers during the rescue.” He was definitely found carrying the hallucinogenic mushrooms.)

The wind knocked over porta-potties this weekend (see below). So that’s basically the worst thing (or maybe this is). A close second is that you haven’t been able to hit the slopes happily just yet — but it’s coming. That’s why we assembled some of Jenn’s finest snow-related resources for you right here. Be prepared.

It’s Monday. I know. But don’t cry. And if you do, try this:

It works for me.

About that wind… here were some of the reactions from Boulder while everybody was holding on for dear life.
