The University of Colorado’s Journalism and Mass Communications department will host a three-day symposium on changing digital media and its impact on society.
The Content and Context of Digital Culture symposium will be held Feb. 27 through 29 on the Boulder campus. The events are free and open to the public.
Featured guests include Columbia University professor Todd Gitlin and Mark Briggs, director of digital media for KING-5 TV in Seattle. For a full schedule of events visit www.icjmtsymposium.org.
The symposium is part of the university’s ongoing effort to restructure the journalism and mass communications curriculums into an Information, Communication, Journalism, Media and Technology process.
