COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs police are trying to help an Olympic athlete find his air pistol.
According to KRDO-TV, Eli Bremer of Colorado Springs competed in the modern pentathlon during the 2008 Summer Olympics, and he hopes to qualify for the 2012 games in London. Bremer finished 23rd at the 2008 games.
Bremer told police someone broke into his pickup truck on Monday evening while he and a German training partner were running in Monument Valley Park.
Bremer says it will be difficult to compete without the gun and he may have to borrow an air pistol from another athlete to qualify.
