Let’s skip the “Love Shack” puns and get straight to the facts: The Boulder Theater announced a B-52s show for Sept. 12.
The dance-rockers who got everyone to jam out to a song about a rock lobster are still kicking after more than 30 years. It’s been about four years since Funplex, the band’s first album in 16 years. The record was proof that the B-52s aren’t trying to mellow out and take themselves too seriously, and they’ll try to prove the same on stage.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. for $45. Day-of-show tickets will cost $50.
This has been your pun-free B-52s update.
