Purity Ring is headed out on tour in support of the recently released full-length debut, Shrines, and the electro indie pop duo will be at the Larimer Lounge on Aug. 29.

The impressive, swaggering record has made Purity Ring a buzz band of the moment, and the more intimate setting of Larimer Lounge should be perfect for showcasing the Canadian duo’s music. The music layers Megan James’ cooing soprano over dark instrumentals from Corin Roddick, with hints of hip-hop beats and R&B grooves.

The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are on sale now for $13. Tickets at the door will be $15.

Before you go, give our review of Shrines a read. Spoiler: We loved it.
