There’s a P-Party and everyone’s coming. Not in your pants, nor in Brick Tamland’s pants.
Flatiron Tribe, Boulder’s center for young adult Jewish friends, is hosting its Purim P-Party at the Absinthe House, 1109 Walnut St., on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The P-Party is a chance to dress up like anything that starts with the letter P, like a pirate, princess, Peyton Manning or Prince, as the Tribe suggests. They say anything is fair game, and feel free to be creative. I say you dress as peyote. No, Pauly D!
The $12 advance ticket gets you admission, a drink ticket and snacks ($15 on Saturday). Get tickets here: /boulderjcc.wufoo.com/forms/flatiron-tribe-purim-pparty

‘Tis the season to pee out green beer, fa la la la….
In Friday’s paper, the Colorado Daily will have a big ol’ list of events for St. Patrick’s Day enthusiasts (so come back, ye Green Freaks), but until then, head to Conor O’Neill’s, 1922 13th St., on Friday and get some pre-game on with Big Paddy. The Irish rockers from Denver will be busting jigs and spitting out ditties while you pound Car Bombs and try to keep your shamrock in your pants. The band starts at 8 p.m.
