Boulder announces street closures for free String Cheese Incident show on University Hill

The city of Boulder has announced street closures and restrictions for the free String Cheese Incident show next Monday on University Hill.

The band is performing at 13th Street and College Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m., and street closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The city will close College Avenue from 12th Street to 12 ½ Alley, eastbound College Avenue from 12 ½ Alley to 13 ½ Alley, westbound College Avenue from Broadway to 12 ½ Alley, and 13th Street from Pennsylvania to Euclid avenues.

Traffic between 13 ½ Alley and 14th Street will be able to exit eastbound and the University of Colorado parking lot on Pennsylvania Avenue and 13th Street will be accessible.

The city is encouraging concertgoers to walk, bike or use the eight HOP buses that will run until 9 p.m.

Six Boulder police officers will be on site. Alcohol will not be permitted, but chairs and other personal items are allowed.
