It should not be a surprise that fossil fuels contribute significantly to climate change. We need to reduce our use of fossil fuels and instead promote renewable energy sources. That is why it is so encouraging to see that the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2018 has been introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives by a bipartisan group of legislators.

We are at an incredibly important and defining moment, and we must take action on climate change to ensure a livable future. There are topics that both parties can agree on, and it is exciting to see bipartisan support to address climate change. This will send a message to the world that the United States is serious about tackling this huge issue.
