A robot named Bibli is seen at the Longmont Library on Monday. The robot was built in a collaboration between the Longmont Public Library and ROBAUTO, a robotics engineering firm. Bibli was created to help children on the Autism spectrum practice their social skills and interact with the library.

Robauto, Inc. will hold a summer internship hiring event Wednesday. The company is seeking interested candidates for a variety of robotics and engineering positions. Students 16 and older through grad school with experience and interest in robotics can attend or apply online at robauto.co. Summer projects involve working on interactive swarm robots, augmented reality and hardware and software engineering, according to the company.

Located in Longmont, Robauto, according to its website, “is working it lower the barrier into robotics, Internet of Things and A.I. engineering. We provide technology and consulting services to bring to life the next wave of innovation.”

The internship event will be from 5 to 6 p.m. at 473 Main St., Suite 100 in Longmont.
