To celebrate the String Cheese Incident’s 25th anniversary, the band announced a collaboration with Oskar Blues Brewery to create a new beer variety: S.C.I.P.A.

The brew will be available exclusively at String Cheese Incident’s July 16-17 shows Dillon Amphitheatre and July 19-21 shows at Red Rocks, according to a news release. Tour info and up to date news will be available at stringcheeseincident.com/tour/.

S.C.I.P.A. celebrate the band’s musical milestone and the “colliding of taste and sound,” according to the release.

Juice Drapeau, the head brewer for the Lyons brewer, said the beer is reminiscent of local flavor.

“When I think about the heart of Colorado beer and music, I think about Oskar Blues and The String Cheese Incident,” Drapeau said in the release. “The idea behind the beer was that we both wanted to create a crisp dry Brut-inspired IPA with low IBU’s and loaded with dank hop flavors and aromas. (It’s) just the perfect IPA for the summer and their outdoor shows.”

The String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth in the release said the band is “super psyched to announce the first-ever String Cheese Incident collaboration beer.” Hollingsworth said.
