The Boulder Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the fastest-growing of 12 such walks held in Colorado, according to the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the University of Colorado’s Business Field on Regent Drive.
The fifth annual walk is expected draw more than 1,000 people. The goal is for it to raise $300,000. Money raised provides education, care and support for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers at no charge, and supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s free 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
