Google is partnering with the Boulder Public Library help local job seekers, small business owners, students, educators and entrepreneurs improve their digital skills as part of its “Grow With Google” initiative.

Google staff will train participants on using Google tools and resources at the free workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave. To register, visit https://bit.ly/2MmhwiC.

The Grow with Google initiative aims to help “develop a skilled workforce to meet the needs of the state’s growing economy, while ensuring Colorado remains a great place for entrepreneurs,” Lauren Lambert, Google’s head of external affairs for the Southwest U.S., said in a statement.

David Farnan, library and arts director at the Boulder Public Library, also welcomed the initiative. “Boulder Public Library supports adult education and digital literacy to transform lives and strengthen our community,” he said in a news release.
