
The body of a man believed to be in his 50s or 60s was found Monday in Farmers Ditch in unincorporated Boulder County, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The body’s discovery was reported to authorities at 11:58 a.m. after it was found by city of Boulder staff who were inspecting the ditch, which is on a Boulder-owned property near the 4800 block of North 26th Street in unincorporated Boulder County, according to a news release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
It appears that the body had been there for some time, making identifying characteristics difficult to determine, according to the release.
The cause and manner of death, as well as the identification of the man, will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
