Boulder officials have nearly $30,000 in unclaimed checks that will become property of the city if not claimed in the next 60 days.

Unclaimed checks issued by the city are considered “intangible unclaimed property” and qualify as abandoned property after six months.

The checks range from $0.27 to $11,000 and were issued to private citizens, companies and other government agencies, including the University of Colorado Board of Regents and the city and county of Denver.

To view a list of outstanding checks, visit bouldercolorado.gov/finance/unclaimed-property. The webpage also includes information about how to claim property.

For more information, contact the Finance Department at 303-441-4338.
