There’s a light shining across the Front Range — several in fact — signifying the height of this holiday season. With December may come rising electricity bills, but it also brings inflatable lawn characters, LED displays and shining smiles.
For you, dear readers, we’ve taken countless treks across the Front Range this holiday season, equipped with cameras and notebooks, and found some of the most exciting, super extra and beautiful displays. Those interested in braving Colorado winter elements will be rewarded with bright lights burning strong with holiday cheer.
Whether in search of a subtle nativity scene or a glam display that channels TV’s “Great Christmas Light Fight,” bright showcases probably exist in a neighborhood near you. 402 Bunyan Ave. — This simple display has falling white lights hanging from the porch as well as multicolored foliage.

1744 Tulip St. — Lights and garland dress this abode, but the real stars can be found in the multiple inflatable blowups of Santa in his sleigh, a polar bear, a penguin, a Christmas pup and, of course, reindeer.
2461 Mapleton Circle — Every inch of this lawn is filled with lights, decor and holiday cheer. Among the blowups, visitors will find Olaf, the beloved snowman from “Frozen.”
1528 Hilltop Drive — This house wows with plenty of lights and home-made cut outs. If you look closely, you’ll find Santa waving out of the top bedroom window. There is also a mail box to drop off letters to Santa.
