The Boulder County Coroner has identified a man who was found dead after a fire Wednesday morning at the Lydia Morgan apartment complex in Louisville.

The body of 67-year-old Robert Johnson was discovered in a unit after Louisville firefighters battled a blaze at the senior housing development, 1450 Lincoln Ave., around 10:30 p.m.

The 30-unit building was evacuated. A sprinkler system, combined with firefighters’ efforts, contained the flames to the one unit where Johnson was found. No other residents were injured during the incident and they were allowed to return to their apartments.

The coroner has completed an autopsy and the cause and manner of Johnson’s death is pending further investigation.

As of Thursday, the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
