Zac Brown Band will return to Colorado for a pair of shows Sept. 25-26 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, the band’s management announced today.

Those shows represent the first concerts announced for Fiddler’s Green in 2020.

That’s significant since Fiddler’s, located in Greenwood Village, is the state’s largest music venue with a seating capacity of 18,000. Venues such as Red Rocks have already announced dozens of large shows for 2020, while Fiddler’s has yet to really populate its calendar.

Grammy-nominated Boulder songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov will not open the Colorado shows, despite being listed as an opener for Zac Brown Band on more than a dozen other dates on the Roar With the Lions Tour. Isakov will join the tour May 24-June 27, while St. Paul and the Broken Bones will open the Wrigley Field show on Sept. 9, the band said in a press statement. An opener has yet to be announced for Zac Brown Band’s Colorado dates.

Tickets for the 7:15 p.m. all-ages Fiddler’s Green concerts are on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. They’ll cost $45-$179.50 and will be available via promoter AEG Presents’ AXS ticketing website (axs.com).

The band should have no problem selling close to 40,000 tickets, having recently headlined Coors Field, the home of the Colorado Rockies. Check out slideshows of the 2017 concert and 2019 concerts from The Know photographers.
