White Fields Community Church is starting a food bank in their its location at 2950 Colorful Ave. in Longmont.

Shelby Lawson, the church’s operations director, said donations can be dropped off at the building from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays  and from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays.

Those in need can pick up food there curbside from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.

White Fields had held its services at the St. Vrain Memorial Building near Roosevelt Park. The congregation’s first service in the new building had been scheduled for March 29 before the coronavirus outbreak spread to Colorado, closing city buildings and businesses and preventing large gatherings.
