Boulder Valley’s Impact on Education announces $100K critical needs fund match for coronavirus impacts

Impact on Education, the foundation supporting Boulder Valley schools, recently announced that all donations, up to $100,000, will be doubled for its critical needs fund to help students impacted by closures to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus.

Dave and Suzanne Hoover, along with Brad Feld and Amy Batchelor, pledged to donate the matching amount. Donations will be matched through the end of March.

The money will go to help the district feed students during closures, put together backpacks of school supplies to distribute to students in need for home learning, and help students with learning gaps with possible after-school or weekend tutoring.

The Boulder Valley School District starts home learning March 30 and is closed until at least April 17 by state order.
