Broomfield police are searching for the suspect in a stabbing on April 19 at 130 E. FlatIron Crossing Drive.
The alleged assault took place about 1 a.m. April 19 behind Grandrabbits Toy Shoppe in Broomfield.
The victim, whom police spokeswoman Rachel Welte said is a juvenile male, was stabbed multiple times. Police believe both he and the suspect were members of groups that street race. Welte said Tuesday the victim was hospitalized, but has since been released.
A red Volkswagen GTI or Volkswagen Golf has been identified, according to an April 22 crime alert from the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. A grey/silver/brown Audi sedan with a missing front bumper also originally deemed a vehicle of interest has been determined not be be involved in the incident, Broomfield police said via email on Wednesday.
