The Adams 12 school district is planning virtual graduation ceremonies for its comprehensive high schools, including Legacy and Mountain Range, that will be shared with families between May 28 and June 12.

In-person ceremonies are postponed until July, according to an email sent to families on Thursday. The plan is to recognize seniors in a traditional graduation format, but the ceremonies may not include the speakers featured in the virtual ceremonies.

In-person ceremonies are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Five Star Stadium, 9351 Washington St., Thornton. Legacy’s ceremony is set for July 21, while Mountain Range is July 22.

Safety guidelines at the events may include wearing masks, attendance by graduates-only or limited spectator attendance, according to the email. The dates also are tentative and may change based on guidance from public health officials.
