Annual fishing permits for Ralph Price Reservoir will go on sale online Friday after postponement due to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to a news release from Longmont, 600 fishing permits were set to be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis starting April 1, though the locations where they were going to be sold — Lyons Town Hall and the St. Vrain Memorial Building — were closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Permits can be purchased online, and stickers will be sent through the mail. A receipt can be used in lieu of a permit until it arrives.

The release added that daily permits will be available June 1.

Ralph Price Reservoir is open to fishing with a permit from May 1 through October 31.
