Boulder County emergency crews have contained a small fire northeast of Allenspark.
According to a tweet sent out by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office at 12:45 p.m., the fire was called in when people reported smoke near County Road 82E.
The sheriff’s office said a “small ground fire” was located.
A tweet from the Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forests sent at 6:43 p.m. said the fire, which it called the Coyote Hill Fire, had been contained at half an acre.

Officials said smoke from the fire might be visible from Colo. 7 before it was contained.
