Boulder County reported 33 new coronavirus cases Sunday, but no new deaths.

To date, there have been 1,938 people who have tested positive or probable for the coronavirus.  The death toll remained at 74. Of the cases reported, there have been 183 people hospitalized and 731 people who have recovered. There are 164 disease investigations in progress, according to Boulder County Public Health.

People 20 to 29 years old continue to have the largest number of cases, with 631 people reported to be positive or probable for the virus in that age group. The second-highest number of cases among age groups is those 40 to 49, with 245 cases reported.

Statewide, there have been 47,716 positive or probable cases. There have been 1,844 deaths among cases, and of those, 1,691 deaths are due to COVID-19. There have been 6,474 people hospitalized. Of Colorado’s roughly 5.7 million population, there have been 544,023 people tested for the virus.
