Boulder police arrested 36-year-old Zachary Ryan Miller this morning on suspicion of first-degree murder after a dead man was discovered in a Boulder park with “substantial injuries” Saturday morning.

Detectives found Miller late Saturday in the same park where the victim had been found and took him to the police station, according to Boulder police. Miller was identified as the suspect, arrested and taken to the Boulder County Jail.

He is scheduled for a court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the jail.

Boulder police found the victim in the park north of the Dairy Center at Folsom and Walnut streets at about 11:20 a.m. Saturday.

The victim’s name has not yet been released. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim, according to Boulder police.
