Longmont City Council postponed a Tuesday night review of a feasibility study that has identified eight viable city-owned locations for potential future solar photovoltaic electrical energy generation installations.

The review, which had been scheduled to occur late in Tuesday night’s meeting, will now be included on an agenda for a future but yet-to-be-announced council meeting.

Also postponed to a future meeting was an item noting a U.S. Department of Energy program’s recognition of Longmont with a “SolSmart Silver” designation for the city’s efforts to reduce the costs of installing solar energy systems on homes and businesses.
