The Eldora ski resort in Boulder County will no longer require reservations for parking on weekdays.
The ski area announced in a release Monday that parking on weekdays would be first-come first-serve until its anticipated closing day on April 18.
Reservations will still be required for weekend parking.
The reservation system was initially put into place this season to help the resort manage crowd numbers and facilitate social distancing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Our entire community stepped up in a big way this season, and that meant we’ve been able to enjoy time on the mountain doing what we love with the people we love,” says Brent Tregaskis, Eldora’s president and general manager. “Parking reservations have not only helped to ensure the well-being of our community by managing the number of people at the resort, they have also created a great guest experience, with the assurance of a parking spot upon arrival and plenty of room to enjoy the mountain.”
Weekend parking can be booked at eldora.com/parking, with additional parking for the coming weekend released every Monday at 10:00 a.m. For guests who book private or group lessons on weekends, Eldora will provide concierge parking reservations.
Eldora also announced 2021-2022 season passes and 4-passes are now on sale at eldora.com.
