Dead & Company announced Thursday that the band will do one more tour in 2023 before hanging up its jams.

Lucky for Boulder, it’ll pit stop at Folsom Field for three shows July 1-3. Boulder is the only stop that will feature a three-night run. “The Final Tour” will start in Los Angeles from May 19-20 and wrap in San Francisco from July 14-15.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 14. Fans can pre-register for tickets beginning at noon Oct. 12 through 10 p.m. Oct. 13 at deadandcompany.com, to ensure tickets go to fans and not bots. Note that advanced registration does not guarantee tickets.

For the tour, the band — which formed in 2015 and is made up of original Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir, alongside John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti — will perform two sets of music drawing from the Grateful Dead’s historic catalog of songs.

Since coming through town for the first series of sold-out shows at Folsom Field in 2016, the band returned in 2017-2019, was sidelined by the pandemic in 2020-2021, then brought fans in from across the world in June.
